In Villabassa, carabinieri charged a 34-year-old Portuguese citizen with illegal waste disposal and damage. According to investigators, the tourist used the car wash grate at a filling station to drain wastewater from his motorhome.
The incident came to light after a complaint from the station owner. The discharge polluted the sewage treatment plant and damaged the car wash structure.
