A motorhome caught fire on chemin de la Rivière-Rouge in Coteau-du-Lac on the evening of 30 October. Firefighters were called at about 20:30; flames threatened a nearby building but were contained, with minimal damage to the residence. The motorhome was a total loss, the building was unoccupied and no one was injured. Power was cut to 1,578 Hydro-Québec customers for safety reasons and restored at about 23:00. Fire services from Saint-Clet and Saint-Polycarpe assisted with tanker trucks because the area has no fire hydrants.
