On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at around 1:45 p.m., a fire broke out in a parking lot in Saint-Vit (Doubs department), completely destroying a motorhome. According to preliminary information, the fire was caused by the explosion of a propane cylinder. The driver managed to stop and leave the vehicle; no injuries were reported.
Ten firefighters from Besançon and Saint-Vit, as well as gendarmes and municipal technical services, were on the scene. The motorhome was completely destroyed.
