Fatal crash near Weyerbusch: motorcyclist collides with motorhome

On Saturday around 9 p.m. in Moers, a motorhome collided with a Mercedes Vito van at the intersection of Rheinberger Straße and Verbandsstraße. A 66-year-old woman and her 67-year-old passenger in the motorhome were seriously injured; five occupants in the van sustained minor injuries. The intersection was closed for accident investigation. No life-threatening injuries were reported.

In Stade, the access road to the motorhome site at Schiffertor has been completely renovated after repeated guest complaints about potholes and water accumulation. Operator SMTG paved the area and installed new drainage pipes. Work began in November 2025 and was completed in time for the season despite frost delays. The site remained open during construction.
