On Saturday, April 25, around 9 p.m., a camper van and a Mercedes Vito minibus collided at the Rheinberger Straße/Verbandsstraße intersection in Moers, Germany. The 66-year-old female driver of the camper and her 67-year-old passenger were seriously injured and taken to a hospital in Krefeld. Five people in the Vito suffered minor injuries and were released the same day.
The intersection was fully closed for accident investigation. According to some sources, there was no danger to life; others say the circumstances are still being clarified. The intersection is equipped with traffic lights.
