On Friday, April 3, 2026, two motorhomes collided head-on in Calw, Baden-Württemberg. According to preliminary police information, a 59-year-old driver of a Fiat motorhome crossed into the oncoming lane, presumably due to a medical problem, and collided with a Cathago motorhome driven by an 82-year-old man.
The number of injured varies by source: some report four people hospitalized with minor injuries, others report three. Both motorhomes were completely destroyed, and a parked car was also damaged. Total damage is estimated at more than €200,000. The road was closed for several hours.
