Argentine man charged with smuggling motorhome

On Sunday, at kilometer 122 of Provincial Route 70, a car collided with a motorhome towed by a pickup truck. The three occupants of the car sustained serious injuries and were taken to Jaime Ferré Hospital in Rafaela.

On June 19, the fourth VWondio Día Mundial will take place in Buenos Aires, with dozens of Volkswagen Beetles (Escarabajo) driving in a caravan through the city's main streets. The project includes feasibility studies for temporary parking and services for motorhomes, as well as partnerships with clubs, campsites, and gas stations. Puig stated that each motorhome stop generates economic activity through fuel, food, and retail spending.

On Saturday, June 20, owners of the Fiat 600 ('Fitito') will gather in a caravan to the Luján Basilica to celebrate Argentina's Flag Day. Organizers — the collector group 'Fiat 600 Los Hermanos' — invite all owners and enthusiasts to join the run, carrying Argentine flags. The meeting point is at the YPF station in General Rodríguez (Acceso Oeste) at 11:30 AM. The event combines tradition, patriotism, and passion for one of Argentina's most iconic cars.

Marcelo Torres from Mendoza, Argentina, drove over 13,000 km in a motorhome from Mendoza to Kansas City to fulfill a travel promise made to his deceased wife. He departed alone on May 5, crossed borders and vandalism incidents over a month, arriving on June 8. The journey will continue to Dallas and Miami, following the Argentine national team.

Arrecifes is hosting a caravan of about 20 motorhomes, campers, and travel trailers from the Ranchomóvil Club Argentino de Buenos Aires this long weekend. On Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the vehicles will be displayed on Rivadavia Street, which will be closed to traffic. After touring the city center, participants will move to the railway station and then settle at the Acampar campsite.
