Fire at Son Hugo parking in Palma
A fire at the Son Hugo parking lot in Palma started shortly before 13:00 and affected a caravan and two other parked vehicles. According to preliminary police data, a gas burner may have caused the blaze. No injuries were reported, and firefighters extinguished the fire.
The Policía Nacional is investigating the fire as a possible arson. The blaze started from a gas cylinder in one caravan and spread to at least two other vehicles. Witnesses reported seeing people at the scene shortly before the fire.
According to one source, the fire destroyed three caravans; according to another, a caravan and two cars were damaged.
