On Monday, August 10, after 2:30 p.m., a caravan caught fire on a property on Polna Street in Łowicz. Despite immediate firefighting efforts and resuscitation, a 49-year-old man died. Two other men inside sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. The preliminary cause of the fire is believed to be accidental ignition; an investigation is underway.
