On the morning of 1 July 2026, a caravan caught fire in the courtyard of a house on Rue Marcel Paul in Millau, Aveyron. Eleven firefighters responded; the flames spread to a shed and 500 m² of vegetation. Three water hoses were used to contain the blaze, which caused only material damage. The caravan was completely destroyed. Preliminary reports indicate a gas cylinder explosion as the likely cause.
