On the morning of October 7, a Fiat Ducatoⓘ motorhome caught fire on a beach in the village of Khurantsy on Olkhon Island. The fire covered an area of 7.5 square meters. The owner sustained burns to his hands and legs and was taken to a local hospital. The preliminary cause is a faulty electrical system in the vehicle.
