In the Latvian settlement of Ropaži, a motorhome was completely burned down. Firefighters discovered the body of a man with no signs of life only after extinguishing the blaze, which took about three hours. The operation was hampered by the remote location of the water source — according to one report, it was seven kilometres away. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
