On the Ionia Odos (Ionian Highway) towards Ioannina, near the Ammotopos exit, a motorhome (caravan) left the road for unknown reasons. Inside was a family of four — a couple and two minor children, all French citizens.
The mother and children were taken to Arta hospital; the father awaits transport. A three-year-old child lost consciousness twice, alarming rescuers. Three fire engines and seven firefighters from Philippiada worked at the scene.
