On Saturday, on the A9 motorway in Thuringia, a motorhome driver, failing to notice a traffic jam, crashed into nine stationary vehicles. According to police, 34 people were injured, including children, and their condition is not a cause for concern.
Among the damaged vehicles were two minibuses carrying 11 children with disabilities and eight attendants. Damage is estimated at approximately 350,000 euros. The traffic jam was caused by an accident on the opposite carriageway, where a horse trailer overturned.
