Greek police have issued a clarificatory order establishing new parking rules for motorhomes and caravans. Within populated areas, motorhomes over 7.5 meters and all caravans are limited to 24-hour parking, while outside populated areas there are no time limits unless prohibited by signage. The order clearly distinguishes legal parking from illegal camping, prohibiting the deployment of additional equipment like awnings or chairs.

German company Ari Motors has launched the electric camper van Ari 458 Pro Camper. The model is approximately 3.5 meters long and 1.5 meters wide, featuring a 15 kW electric motor with a range of up to 230 km. The Greek police have issued a clarifying ordinance, overturning controversial parking restrictions for motorhomes that had been in place since 2025. The new rules, effective February 15, 2026, state that motorhomes are subject to the same parking regulations as other vehicles. Within localities, motorhomes up to 7.5 meters in length can park without time limits, while longer ones are limited to 24 hours. Outside localities, there is no time limit, although wild camping remains prohibited.
