On Sunday, 1 February, three thieves stole a Ford Transit campervan that had been parked on a street in Rome's Pigneto district for three weeks. Inside was the owner's cat, Martufella, who wears a pink collar.
The owner, Lorenzo Marte, an actor and illusionist, lived in the vehicle. He reported losing all his possessions, including documents, and filed a complaint with police. Marte appealed to the thieves to at least return the cat. He also asks anyone who spots the animal to call 3298868850.
