Theft of horse club caravan in Brittany and tourists' motorhome in Rome

In Villacidro, Sardinia, a camper van belonging to two German tourists was shot at early Thursday morning. The couple was awakened by gunfire at 5 a.m. in the Villascema park. Bullets shattered the windshield, pierced the passenger seat, and ended up on the bedspread. Carabinieri arrested a local farmer on suspicion of illegal weapons possession, but his involvement in the shooting has not been confirmed.
