Fires at campsites
On 5 July 2026, a fire at Hälleviks campsite in Sölvesborg destroyed two caravans. The smoke was visible from afar. Two people were taken to hospital. Police filed a case for negligent handling of fire posing a public danger.
On 27 June in Landvetter, a caravan caught fire at a parking lot near the Landvettermotet interchange. Firefighters received the call at 08:24 and extinguished the fire within half an hour. Flames spread to nearby trees, but no one was inside, and no ambulance was called.
On 1 June, a caravan fire occurred at a campsite (according to two sources). No one was inside the trailer at the time of the fire; no injuries were reported.
Caravan uncoupling
On 16 July 2026 in Smedjebacken, a man's caravan uncoupled while driving over a road bump. The caravan rolled into a gate. The incident is classified as suspected careless driving.
