A major fire broke out at a campsite in Hinterzarten (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district) on the night before Whit Sunday. The administrative building was completely destroyed; one firefighter sustained minor injuries after falling from a ladder. Preliminary estimates put the damage at at least one million euros. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
