Before the auction, a viewing was held on August 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 at the parking lot of the Keelung Investigation Station, attracting many interested parties.
The vehicle was shipped from Germany by sea, with all duties and taxes paid, but due to the seizure upon release, it has not undergone technical inspection and has no license plates; the buyer must complete registration procedures and hold a trailer-towing license. A deposit of 200,000 New Taiwan dollars is required to participate in the auction.
