In Ostfildern (Baden-Württemberg), three caravans parked on a street in an industrial area were completely destroyed by fire overnight. Police believe they were deliberately set on fire; the suspect is also said to have ignited a nearby wooden hut. A search with a police helicopter was unsuccessful. Two other parked vehicles were damaged by the heat, with total damage estimated at over €100,000.
