A caravan fire broke out overnight from August 7 to 8 in Mèze (Hérault) and spread to two vehicles and a residential building. According to France 3 Régions, the fire destroyed 40 m² of the ground floor and damaged two additional cars. Midi Libre reports the fire occurred on Rue Forgeron, destroying the first floor and damaging the second floor.
A 75-year-old woman was taken to Sète hospital, and three residents suffered from smoke inhalation. The victims were accommodated with relatives. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
