In the district of Cuxhaven, Lower Saxony, an escaped donkey named Freddy entered a motorhome and attacked two people, kicking and biting them. A 59-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman had stopped to restrain the animal, which was on a roundabout in Geestland together with an escaped horse. A 33-year-old woman who tried to help was also bitten, kicked, and pushed to the ground. All three sustained minor injuries; the woman was treated at a hospital. The animals were captured with the help of their owner.
