On 18 September, Catalan police detained a man suspected of four burglaries committed at night in motorhomes at a campsite in Mont-roig del Camp. Around 09:15, calls alerted police to the thefts; one victim reported that a stolen phone was being tracked via GPS. A patrol found the suspect hiding in a wooded area next to backpacks and other items; he attempted to flee on foot but was intercepted and detained. The detainee had eight prior police records for burglary in the Tarragona area. Police recovered numerous stolen items, including mobile phones, tablets, headphones, glasses, a coffee maker and a water heater; part of the property was returned the same morning. The investigation clarified four reports of burglary inside motorhomes.
