A Norwegian couple purchased a Hymer motorhome from dealer Kroken Caravan for 2.75 million SEK, described as being of 'excellent quality'. The day after delivery, a tag reading 'donor car' was found on the key. An inspection revealed faults in 12 out of 13 points, including loose bolts and exposed wiring. Repairs to make the vehicle safe were estimated at 2.5 million SEK. Before the case reached the appeals court, the dealer agreed to cancel the sale.
