Adam Wojcik, 40, of Blackburn, pleaded guilty to assault and criminal damage after hitting a caravan site owner with a mobile phone and later causing £5,000 worth of damage to two horseboxes. The court heard the victim had allowed Wojcik to stay on the site due to homelessness but asked him to leave because of his behaviour. Wojcik was given a 12-month community order with 20 days rehabilitation, six months alcohol treatment, and 150 hours unpaid work, plus £500 compensation.
