On the A50 towards Arnhem near Hernen, a caravan overturned and detached from a passenger car on Friday afternoon. The car and caravan then ended up on the crash barrier. The report came in around 5:50 PM, after which police and Rijkswaterstaat arrived. Bicycles attached to the caravan were badly damaged, and both the car and caravan sustained heavy damage. No information on possible injuries is available. The incident caused a long traffic jam on the A50 towards Arnhem. A recovery company is removing the car and caravan; it is not yet known how long the recovery will take or whether the crash barrier needs replacement.
