A serious accident occurred on the Ionia Odos highway at kilometer 160 near the Ammotopos exit, when a caravan veered off the road under unclear circumstances. The vehicle carried two adult couples and two children — an eight-month-old and a three-year-old — all French nationals. The three-year-old reportedly lost consciousness twice. Seven firefighters from Filippiada responded, and the injured were taken to Arta hospital.
