A camper converted from a 1-tonne truck caught fire in Geumsan County, South Chungcheong Province. An 80-year-old man and his 70-year-old wife suffered second-degree burns to their hands and legs while trying to put out the flames. The fire broke out at about 18:50 on 6 November on an empty lot near Jeokbyeokgang in Sutong-ri, Buri-myeon. It was extinguished in about 30 minutes, but the vehicle burned out completely. Police and fire authorities said the couple had been boiling water on a burner inside the camper and are investigating the possibility that the burner tipped over.
