On August 19 at 9:55 a.m., the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters received a report of smoke coming from a camper parked at the public parking lot of Amnam Park in Seo-gu. Firefighters extinguished the blaze in 20 minutes, deploying 67 personnel and 18 pieces of equipment. No injuries were reported. One camper was destroyed, with property damage estimated at 5 million won. Preliminary investigation suggests the fire started from a power bank placed on the floor next to the bed; the owner had left it charging a portable battery before going to work. The likely cause is thermal runaway of the battery.
