The Habgang and Jeonwolsan campsites in Sejong have been recognized as excellent campsites for the second consecutive year in the camping category of the KCIA Korea Consumer Industry Award 2026, organized by the Korea Consumer Council. The city of Sejong's operating company announced this on August 19.
The evaluation is based on data from real visitors, including satisfaction with facilities, cleanliness, staff courtesy, complaint handling, accessibility, and overall impressions. This year, the top-rated facilities were those in the top 0.39% of all accommodations nationwide.
The campsites, operated by the cultural and social division of Sejong's facility management corporation, offer areas for motorhomes, car camping, free camping, and barbecue, as well as zones for families and beginner campers in the forest. They were praised for management quality and service competitiveness. Division head Yoon Bin Im stated the intention to maintain high standards of safety and comfort.
