Prosecutors on the Swedish island of Fårö have charged a man who, according to the investigation, sold or moved his motorhome after it had been seized by bailiffs (Kronofogden) in September 2025. The motorhome is valued at 200,000 kronor, and the owner's debts amount to about 1.2 million kronor.
The bailiffs only managed to find and seize the motorhome in June 2026 at the Sudersand Resort campsite. According to police, a friend of the former owner claims he bought the caravan for 50,000 kronor. The accused denies guilt. If convicted, he faces a fine or imprisonment of up to one year.
