Camper van fire in Burhaniye causes panic

A truck converted into a camper caught fire in Burhaniye's Kocacamii neighborhood. Firefighters responded quickly, no injuries were reported, but the vehicle sustained major damage.

The municipality of Ayvalık announced a ban on long-term and disorderly caravan parking in coastal areas, parks, and along roadsides. The decision follows a UKOME regulation. Nearly all of the 75 tent and 20 caravan pitches are full, along with 5 bungalows and a goat-hair tent camping area.
