Fire in Namsskogan (8 July)
At the Nyheim campsite in Namsskogan, a motorhome parked near the administration building caught fire on Wednesday morning. The alarm was raised at 10:47, and the fire was extinguished by 11:29. Three people were examined at the scene and taken to hospital. According to firefighters, the station is 400–500 metres away, allowing a quick response and preventing the fire from spreading to the building. The motorhome was completely destroyed. One person suffered superficial burns.
Fire in Tennfjord (2 July)
On Thursday evening, police reported a fire in a fully engulfed motorhome in Tennfjord. The call came in at 20:36, and the fire was out by 21:01. The owner noticed the fire while driving, stopped the motorhome, and removed the gas cylinder. He was examined by medical personnel.
Fire on Sotra (2 July)
On Thursday morning, a motorhome caught fire on the island of Sotra. Fire services responded to a report of a fire in a caravan, but on arrival found a motorhome ablaze. The vehicle was completely burnt out. The owner was elsewhere, and no other people had lawful access. No injuries were reported. Police have opened an investigation.
Fire in Bygland (1 June)
On Riksvei 9 near Skomedal in Bygland, a motorhome caught fire. Firefighters are conducting mop-up operations; no injuries have been reported. A tow truck has been ordered to remove the motorhome, and traffic is being regulated to one lane.
