On July 3, the interior of a parked motorhome on Alpenstraße in Gröbenzell (Fürstenfeldbruck district) was completely destroyed by fire. Police suspect a technical defect as the cause. Damage is estimated in the high five-figure range. The same day on federal road B471, a 57-year-old driver from Emmering turning left failed to see a 36-year-old cyclist from Mammendorf; the cyclist sustained shoulder injuries and bruises and was taken to a Munich hospital.
