On Sunday afternoon at the railway crossing on Brückenstraße in Dornburg-Camburg, a 46-year-old driver stopped his motorhome in front of the closed barrier but did not secure it sufficiently against rolling. The vehicle rolled forward and struck the barrier, damaging it.
The crossing was temporarily guarded, and trains passed with restrictions. Technicians from Deutsche Bahn replaced the barrier within a few hours, and the system was fully restored.
