On Tuesday afternoon in Drunen, police spotted a vehicle towing a caravan that was registered as stolen. When officers attempted to stop it, the driver fled at high speed through the town center, causing multiple dangerous situations and even trying to push a police car off the road. After about five minutes, the vehicle entered a dirt track where it got stuck; both occupants fled on foot but were immediately arrested. They face charges including attempted manslaughter, handling stolen goods, causing danger, and failing to stop. No injuries were reported.
