On May 8, 2026, the regional preliminary round of the 'ADAC Camper of the Year' competition took place at the Nürburgring. Ten motorhome drivers competed in precision maneuvers, emergency braking on wet surfaces, and other exercises. Winner Stefan Eifler qualified for the national final on September 5 at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf.
