Around 1,000 camping and caravan enthusiasts gathered at the first Afyonkarahisar Camping and Caravan Festival, held at Emre Lake in İhsaniye district. The event, organized by the local association and the Frigya Local Action Group, featured competitions and showcased the region's gastronomy. Deputy Governor Yalçın Sezgin said the festival contributed to local tourism and announced that a TÜBİTAK sky observation event would be held at the same venue.
