The CMT trade fair in Stuttgart, running from January 17 to 25, has turned the exhibition complex into Europe's largest motorhome parking lot. It features 1,660 exhibitors, including 1,200 motorhomes and caravans.
Among more than 120 new products are budget models for beginners: a camper based on the Fiat Ducatoⓘ from €40,000 and caravans under €20,000. For the first time, a separate pavilion offers equipment for DIY van conversions. Solutions for off-grid energy supply are also presented.
Visitors can not only view and purchase vehicles but also donate biological waste from toilets for a scientific project to create bio-concrete. The popularity of caravanning in Germany is growing: in the first ten months of 2025, the number of overnight stays at campsites rose by 4% to 44 million.
