At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf (August 28 – September 6, 2026), Ford will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Nugget camper, produced since 1986. The anniversary special edition "40 Years Nugget" is based on the Active trim with long wheelbase L2 and a 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel with 170 hp. The price is 89,646.65 euros (according to one source) or 89,647 euros (according to another).
A restored first-generation Nugget from 1986 will also be shown. The fifth generation, developed with Westfalia, is available for the first time as a plug-in hybrid with 171 kW (233 hp), as well as with a new rigid high roof making the camper suitable for year-round use. Diesel versions are available with outputs from 100 to 125 kW (136–170 hp).
The 40 Years special edition features a retro style in "ice white" with black details, a kitchen unit, a 200-liter wardrobe, and an optional toilet.
