The 17th Salone del Camper will take place in Parma (Fiere di Parma) from September 12 to 20, 2026. The event will showcase the latest technologies for motorhomes and caravans: lighting and multimedia systems controlled via smartphone, lithium batteries up to 540 Ah, solar panels for curved surfaces, diesel heaters operating down to -40°C, and safety systems with GPS monitoring and reduced insurance premiums. Organizers also announced four food routes for motorhome travel through Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Calabria. The initiative is based on data showing that in 2025 outdoor tourism in Italy exceeded 74 million overnight stays, with an economic impact estimated at 8.5 billion euros. The routes include visits to local producers, tastings, and stops at lesser-known locations.
