At the Caravan Salon in Hanover, Bruder presented its new flagship off-road caravan ADX-21. The model combines military-grade technology (patented independent suspension with air springs, 12 inches of travel) with boutique-hotel interior: leather upholstery, herringbone parquet, panoramic windows. Price starts at €185,000. European importer is Camp Impuls from Karlsruhe (booth B60, hall 16).

Australian manufacturer Bruder, known for its extreme off-road campers, has announced the ADX-18 model. It is expected to be the most affordable camper in the lineup, aimed at those who camp off the beaten path. Technical details and pricing have not been released, but the camper is estimated to be around 6 meters long. The model is likely to be showcased at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, running from August 28 to September 6.

Promobil magazine reviewed 12 fully integrated motorhomes (vollintegrierte Wohnmobile) as entry-level luxury models. All are built on Fiat Ducato or Mercedes Sprinter chassis, up to 7.5 m long, with base prices from €100,000 to €145,000. A key issue is curb weight: most are registered as 3.5-ton vehicles, but due to heavy construction (large windshield, double floor) payload is limited. Upgrading to 4.4–4.5 t GVWR is recommended for practical use.

At the Caravan Salon, Dethleffs presented the C.Core concept vehicle, which is not a preview of a production model but a test platform. It features lightweight materials (Necto, recycled PET), modular furniture, a deployable solar panel with up to 600 W output, a closed-loop water system with filtration, and a projector instead of a TV. Dethleffs says the system can operate largely autonomously from May to September under favorable conditions.

The Sanssouci campsite in Potsdam ranked 24th in Europe and first in Brandenburg in an ADAC ranking. The ranking is based on page views by German users from January to July 2026. Only sites with at least four reviews and an average rating of at least 7 out of 10 were considered. The campsite on the Templiner See offers 240 pitches and is the only 5-star site in Brandenburg. 39 of Europe's 100 most-requested campsites are in Germany, followed by Italy and Croatia.

The Mercedes-Benz EQT 200 Long with the Marco Polo module costs over 62,000 euros in a practical configuration, far above the advertised base price. The vehicle is technically identical to the Renault Kangoo E-Tech Electric, sharing the CMF-B EV platform, a 90 kW electric motor, and a 45 kWh battery. Real-world range is 180–240 km in summer and 150–180 km in winter, while the 80 kW maximum DC charging power is only achieved in a narrow state-of-charge window. The Brabus-developed Marco Polo module adds 200 kg and costs 3,500 euros but lacks a built-in auxiliary heater. Mercedes faces criticism for the high price, limited range, and software issues with MBUX.
