A Bucharest resident, Ionut (also referred to as Ionut in another source), a former IT specialist, sold his apartment and moved to Buzău, where he and his father converted a Fiat Ducatoⓘ van into a fully equipped mobile home for permanent living. The project took about a year and cost approximately 31,000 euros, including bodywork and official registration as a motorhome.
The camper includes a kitchen with an induction hob (one source also mentions an espresso machine), a shower with hot water, and a composting toilet. Ionut has already spent about 50 nights in it, traveling through Romania and Italy.
