Australian company Headspace Campers has unveiled a four-wheel-drive camper based on the commercial Toyota HiAce LWB. The vehicle's ground clearance is 300 mm, which exceeds that of any production Land Cruiser.
The conversion includes a transfer case from the Land Cruiser 200 Series, low-range gearing, differential locks, 35-inch tires, and reinforced suspension. Inside, there is a shower, a kitchen with an induction cooktop, sleeping areas, and a 48-volt electrical system with a 200 Ah lithium battery. According to the source, the vehicle also features a pop-up roof and fuel tanks with a total capacity of 275 liters of diesel.
The base conversion price is 18,950 Australian dollars, while the premium version costs 27,590; the vehicle itself is purchased separately.
