Headspace Campers has unveiled a camper based on the Australian-spec Toyota HiAce LWB. The vehicle features all-wheel drive with a transfer case from the Land Cruiser 200, low-range gearing, pneumatic differential locks, 35-inch Toyo Open Country tires, and 300 mm ground clearance. A winch, snorkel, reinforced suspension, and steel bumpers are also included.
Inside, there is a slide-out kitchen with an induction cooktop, refrigerator, and air fryer, a hot-water shower, an electric pop-up roof with a bed measuring 1450 × 2100 mm, a fold-out sofa, and a 200 Ah lithium-ion battery (48V electrical system). The living compartment is 2740 mm long and sleeps four people. The engine remains standard: a 2.8-liter turbo diesel producing 174 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Fuel tanks are enlarged to 275 liters, and payload is 1.5–1.6 tons.
The modification package costs from AU$18,950 to AU$27,600, with the total cost including the vehicle exceeding AU$100,000 (according to one source, over 2.3 billion dong).
