At the Caravan Salon, German converter Camper Schmiede presented two individually built camper vans based on the MAN TGE. One is a 6.80 m vehicle with a rear lounge, a magnetically mounted projector and an electric drop-down bed; its shower uses the DauerShower recirculation system, in which 5–6 litres of water are continuously filtered and UV-C treated, and heating and cooking run on diesel without gas. The second van features a rear Soul Floater lounger rated to 200 kg and an interior finished in a concrete look. Prices for a fully custom all-wheel-drive Mercedes Sprinter or MAN TGE start at around 200,000 euros, while the displayed vehicle with full equipment costs over 300,000 euros.
