At the Club des Motorhomes Poids Lourds de France rally in Moréac in spring 2026, a camper conversion based on an Irisbus Récréo bus was showcased. The former school bus, a 2012 Iveco Tector with 175,000 km, was converted by Bruno and Suzanne over seven months. The 12-meter motorhome features seven solar panels, four lithium batteries (24V, 560 Ah), 600 L fresh water and 400 L grey water tanks, two Webastoⓘ heaters, a kitchen with dishwasher, and a washing machine in the garage. It is registered as a VASP, allowing access to some cities restricted to heavy trucks.
