An owner called Maruchan from Gifu Prefecture has converted a Nissan Caravan commercial van into a family vehicle for travelling. The interior is fully retrimmed in pink fabric, from the door cards to the ceiling. The second row has pink captain seats with Bodyline armrests, the floor is covered with Cool mats and the cup holders are also from Bodyline.
Sleeping space and equipment
The load area holds a bed kit made to order to the van's dimensions, with room for the whole family to lie down with their legs stretched out. The cabin also has a Nardi steering wheel, a Carrozzeria head unit and Bodyline speakers.
Outside, the van has custom air suspension: one press of a switch releases the air and lowers the body until it almost touches the ground. It rides on 20-inch Velz Wheels rims, 9.5J with an offset of 35, fitted with 225/35R20 tyres. Other parts include a custom front bumper, Bodyline side and rear aero, a Bodyline bonnet, Bodyline overfenders, a Dynasty wiper cover, Valenti fog lamps and a high-mounted stop lamp, a Bodyline brake system and a custom exhaust with four centre tailpipes.
The owner plans frame work to improve alignment and lower the body further.
