Italian company Tailgate Gear has unveiled a conversion kit that turns a Toyota Land Cruiser 78 into a motorhome. The kit weighs 100–120 kg depending on configuration and is designed for the extended three-door version. It is offered with 2 or 4 berths, including a double bed under a pop-up roof and an optional folding sofa. The interior includes modular cabinets and drawers, with bamboo and aluminium trim available as options. A small kitchen with a stove, oven and sink is offered, along with an optional fridge and folding awning. The motorhome features a 70-litre water tank and roof-mounted solar panels. The kit is priced from 5,990 to 9,664 euros depending on selected options.
